Who we are
AimFinder is a browser tool that helps you find your CS2 sensitivity. It is operated by an individual. For any privacy question or request, write to contact@aimfinder.pro.
Data stored in your browser
The sensitivity finder itself runs entirely in your browser. Your settings (DPI, keybinds, language), drill history, session results and your cookie choices are saved in your browser’s localStorage under "aimfinder:" keys. Without an account this data never leaves your device; it is essential to how the app works and requires no consent. You can erase it at any time by clearing site data in your browser.
Account & demo analysis
Creating an account (used for the demo-analysis feature) stores a username and a salted hash of your password — never the password itself. We do not ask for your email.
When you upload a CS2 demo, the file is parsed on the server and then immediately deleted. Only the extracted aim statistics (per-kill angles, timings, the sensitivity you entered) are kept, linked to your account, so your reports keep working. Deleting your account removes all of it.
While you are signed in, your drill-session results (dates, scores and per-trial statistics — never your continuous mouse movements) are also synced to your account so the site operator can review activity and keep improving the training. Deleting your account removes them.
A cookie named "af_session" keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It is strictly necessary for the login feature and therefore exempt from consent.
Server logs
Like almost every web service, our server records the IP address of incoming requests together with the country it resolves to, for security, abuse prevention and audience statistics. These records are linked to your account while you are signed in, are kept for at most 12 months, and those linked to your account are deleted with it.
Audience measurement (only with your consent)
With your permission we load Google Analytics, a Google audience-measurement service that counts visits and which features are used (pages viewed, country, browser type). We use it to understand what to improve; Google processes this data as described in its privacy policy at policies.google.com. You can refuse or withdraw at any time; the site works identically without it.
Advertising (only with your consent)
Ads help keep AimFinder free. With your permission, our advertising partner (Google AdSense) may set cookies to deliver and measure ads. For visitors in the EEA and the UK, Google additionally shows its own certified consent dialog (IAB Transparency & Consent Framework) the first time ads load; your choices there decide whether ads are personalised or non-personalised. See Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com for details. If you refuse our advertising category, no advertising script is loaded at all.
Your rights
You can withdraw your cookie consent at any time with the button below or via "Cookie settings" in the footer — withdrawing is as easy as accepting.
Under the GDPR you also have rights of access, rectification, erasure and portability over your account data. Contact contact@aimfinder.pro to exercise them; you may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in France, the CNIL — cnil.fr).
