Valorant eDPI calculator
eDPI (effective DPI) = mouse DPI × in-game sensitivity — the standard way to compare Valorant aim speed between players regardless of their DPI.

What is eDPI?
Raw sensitivity numbers are meaningless on their own: sens 2.0 at 400 DPI moves exactly as fast as sens 1.0 at 800 DPI. Multiplying the two normalises the DPI away — both players are at 800 eDPI. That makes eDPI the number to quote when comparing settings between Valorant players. It does NOT carry across games: CS2 turns 0.022° per count and Valorant 0.07°, so 800 CS2 eDPI equals about 251 Valorant eDPI.
Most professional Valorant players sit roughly between 200 and 400 eDPI, but the spread is huge and copying a number does not copy the grip, arm technique and desk space behind it. eDPI describes your speed; it does not decide the right one for you.
Is my eDPI high or low?
As a rough map at 400+ eDPI you are on the fast side, common for wrist-heavy aimers with small pads; 250–400 is the broad middle; below 200 is slow, arm-driven aim that needs desk room. All three can work — what matters is whether your flicks systematically overshoot or undershoot at that speed.
Stop guessing, measure
AimFinder exists because the right eDPI is measurable: upload a match replay or run the 10-minute in-browser test, and the number is derived from where your flicks actually land.
eDPI FAQ
What is a good eDPI for Valorant?
There is no single good value — pros span roughly 200 to 400 eDPI (0.25–0.5 at 800 DPI) and plenty win outside that range. If your first movements systematically fly past heads your eDPI is too high for you; if they always stop short it is too low. That personal bias, not a chart, is the criterion.
How do I convert my CS2 sensitivity to Valorant?
Multiply the CS2 value by 0.3143 (0.022 ÷ 0.07) at the same DPI: CS2 1.6 becomes Valorant 0.503. The physical cm/360 is identical, so your muscle memory carries over; only the number changes.
Where do I set the sensitivity in Valorant?
Settings → General → Mouse → Sensitivity: Aim. The field accepts three decimals. Scoped sensitivity is a separate multiplier (1.0 keeps the same cm/360 while zoomed relative to the FOV change).
